BHEL, Schaeffler India, Thermax, AIA Engineering, Sadbhav Engineering and SKF India declined up to 1 per cent.

Shares of Lakshmi Machine Works, Kalpataru Power Transmissions, ABB India, Thermax, GE T&D India and Elgi Equipments were also among losers.

The BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.87 per cent down at 18,025 around 01:25 pm.

Out of 50 Nifty constituents, 19 ended in the green and 31 settled in the red.

Snapping its three day bullish trend, the domestic equity market was trading in red on Thursday.

The NSE Nifty50 was trading 32.60 points up at 9,433.50 in the afternoon trade.
