- In 2003, she founded the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. Considered one of India's best international schools, it draws students from a cross-section of society, and also provides leadership to 14 other schools that educate over 1500 students every year
- As Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) expanded, Nita Ambani set up the Reliance Foundation in 2010 to take up various philanthropic and CSR initiatives of the group.
