Renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra has heaped praises on Nita Ambani, calling her a "leader with a smile and positive energy." The designer, known for his opulent creations, worked closely with Ambani on the grand wedding celebrations of her son, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Malhotra shared his experience working on the prewedding ceremony at Jamnagar and the main wedding events at the NMACC and Jio World Convention Centre( JWC). He described the journey as a ‘lifetime memory’, marked by long hours, intense creativity, and unwavering dedication.

“It’s been a lifetime of memories, working from the pre-wedding in Jamnagar to the wedding decor at NMACC and JWC with the creative visionary, Mrs. Nita Ambani,” Malhotra wrote. “It’s all her vision, compassion, tremendous hard work, dedication, leadership, and attention to the finest of detailing leading us with all the warmth, happiness, and ideas.”


"We all worked for months for the pre-wedding and the main wedding ... all the late night meetings, she always is the leader with a smile and positive energy..lots of fun moments ... Laughter …amazing food …taking care of us all…inculcating us in all her love for handloom craftsmanship and our culture and the joy of building this vision together…working with her has been an experience that I will always cherish and I have already started missing our meetings…from our long discussions of decor, flowers, colors and all aesthetics," he wrote on Instagram.


The designer further revealed the behind-the-scenes magic, highlighting the months of meticulous planning, late-night meetings, and the infectious positive energy that Ambani brought to the table. “She’s always the leader with a smile and positive energy,” he added.

Malhotra also spoke about the enriching experience of immersing himself in India’s rich heritage and craftsmanship under Ambani’s guidance. “Inculcating us in all her love for handloom craftsmanship and our culture, and the joy of building this vision together… working with her has been an experience that I will always cherish,” he said

This included collaborating with a stellar team of industry experts, such as set designer Sumanth Jayakrishnan, florists Jeff Leathem, Interflora, and Heena Patel, wedding planner Yogesh Popat, and choreographers Shiamak Davar and Vaibhavi Merchant.
