Hosting the wedding in India at such a scale was a strategic move by the Ambanis, showcasing their confidence in the local market and aligning with the broader 'Make in India' initiative. The nuptial journey began on July 5 with a vibrant sangeet ceremony, during which the couple and their families delighted in choreographed dances to celebrate their upcoming union. In the following days, they engaged in various poojas and a mehendi ceremony, during which intricate henna designs adorned the hands and feet of the bride and her guests. On July 11, the couple celebrated their haldi, a cherished tradition to usher in prosperity and good fortune.
Following these pre-wedding festivities, the three-day wedding celebration began on July 12 and continued until July 14, as per the Shubh Muhurat set by the Pandits. The wedding rituals showcased cultural grandeur, starting with Anant's baraat, the groom's procession, on the evening of July 12. Surrounded by dancing friends, family, and notable national and international guests, Anant made his way to the Jio World Convention Centre.
Just before the commencement of the Shubh Vivah ceremony of his children, Mukesh Ambani took to the stage to welcome all the guests present with utmost humility. He then went on to talk about the significance of a traditional Hindu marriage and credited his partner in life, Nita Ambani, for curating the grand, immersive experience
The ceremony commenced with the traditional jaimala, where Anant and Radhika exchanged garlands to symbolise their acceptance of one another. This was followed by the kanyadaan, a significant moment when Radhika's parents blessed Anant to marry their daughter. This was followed by the sindoor daan and mangalsutra ceremonies, where Anant applied vermillion to Radhika's hair and tied a mangalsutra, a sacred necklace, around her neck. The Shubh Vivah concluded late into the night with Radhika's emotional vidai, the farewell ceremony where the bride leaves her family home to join her marital home

The Ambani family also organised a grand mass wedding for 52 underprivileged couples near Mumbai, demonstrating their commitment to social welfare and community support. This gesture provided these couples with a beautiful and dignified ceremony, complete with all the traditional rituals and celebrations. Moreover, Ambani pledged to extend this initiative further, promising to support hundreds more such weddings across India.

This initiative aims to help underprivileged couples begin their married life with joy and blessings, alleviating the financial burden that often accompanies wedding ceremonies. By doing so, the Ambani family not only touched the lives of these couples but also set a powerful example of philanthropy and community service, reinforcing the values of compassion and generosity that are deeply embedded in Indian culture.

Against the backdrop of these pre-wedding festivities, a 40-day non-stop Bhandara organised by Anant Ambani fed thousands daily.
Additionally, in a heartfelt display of gratitude, the Ambani family organised a special event to thank their dedicated staff for their invaluable assistance in orchestrating the wedding. Esteemed singers, including AR Rahman, performed, and a viewing of the Dashavtar show, conceptualised by Nita Ambani, was held.
