Tamannaah Bhatia has often made fitness sound less like a tough challenge and more like a long-term habit. The actor has maintained a regular workout regimen, blending strength training, cardio, yoga and other exercises, even with busy shooting schedules. Her approach is not centred on extreme workouts alone; consistency, variety and listening to her body appear to be at the heart of it.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s fitness routine: strength training is key

In a 2025 conversation, fitness coach Siddhartha Singh candidly revealed that Tamannaah can wake up as early as 4:30 am to train before heading into a shooting day that can last up to 12 hours. She also summed up her approach simply: “There’s no other way to do it. Diet, of course, needs to be controlled, but you can’t substitute anything for workouts. You have to train, and I enjoy it.”, according to Hindustan Times.

Strength training forms an important part of Tamannaah’s workout routine. According to Medstown, her fitness schedule combines weightlifting, resistance-band exercises and bodyweight training, along with Pilates and core-focused workouts. The Vvaan actress has previously been more specific about her gym routine.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, she said, “My fitness regime consists of weights, abs, crunches, cardio, and a series of free hand exercises.” She also revealed that she spends at least an hour in the gym, while incorporating activities such as yoga, swimming, Pilates and aerobics depending on her schedule.

Tamannaah does squats, running and lower-body training

Tamannaah’s workouts can also get particularly intense when she focuses on her lower body. In January 2026, her trainer Siddhartha Singh shared a glimpse of her training in Spain. The session featured squats followed by running-based conditioning. The Indian Express consulted fitness experts after the video, with consultant dietitian and fitness expert Garima Goyal noting that Tamannaah’s exercises involved controlled compound movements that work multiple muscle groups. Her wider workout repertoire has also included exercises such as push-ups, lunges, planks and crunches, followed by cardio and stretching. Swimming, cycling, yoga and Pilates have also featured in reports about her routine.

Cardio, dance and yoga keep Tamannaah's routine diverse

Tamannaah does not rely entirely on weights. Cardio, dance and functional movements help her keep her workouts varied. In a 2025 interview with The Indian Express, she explained that she now focuses primarily on strength training balanced with cardio. Dance has become one of her favourite forms of cardio, while long walks are another option on days when she wants something gentler. “I don’t push myself to the point of exhaustion anymore; I listen to my body and slow down when I need to,” Tamannaah said. That shift is important because it shows that her fitness philosophy has evolved rather than remained focused solely on maintaining a particular appearance.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s fitness secret: consistency over extremes

If there is one theme running through Tamannaah’s fitness journey, it is consistency. Vogue India previously highlighted the actor’s preference for slowing down during workouts rather than rushing through them. Tamannaah has also said, “You don't have to be extreme, just be consistent.” Tamannaah's diet philosophy has similarly moved away from crash dieting. In an earlier interview, she said she believes in eating everything in moderation and called crash diets a “big no-no”. She has also spoken about staying hydrated and maintaining balanced meals during long shooting schedules. For Tamannaah, therefore, fitness is not about one magical exercise or a punishing diet. It is a combination of strength training, cardio, movement, recovery, and discipline a routine flexible enough to fit around the unpredictable demands of an actor’s life.
