These outlets are spread across 20 states, over 340 districts and more than 2,000 postal codes.

The probe would also include the resignation of Price Water House as statutory auditors of the company.

The alliance is banking on Vakrangee's network of 44,000 Vakrangee Kendras across the country.

With a strong Q3 result, Vakrangee offers banking, insurance, ATM, e-governance, e-commerce and logistics services across India.

The company has been a top gainer on the bourses in the last ten years.

Shares of the company opened at Rs 490.80 and touched a high and low of Rs 501.30 and Rs 490.05, respectively, in trade so far.

Reacting to the announcement, the scrip gained 4.02 per cent to hit a high of Rs 184.40 on the BSE.
