'Check your results in 3 months': Goa doctor and health coach says guava and egg combo an elite meal, reveals how many and how to eat the fruit
A Goa doctor, Dr. Anshul Sadhale, recommends a diet of eggs and guavas for optimal health. He suggests this combination as an elite meal, emphasizing its benefits for recovery and appetite control. Dr. Sadhale advises incorporating this diet with ...

According to Sadhale, unlike high-GI fruits that can spike your blood sugar and lead to an energy crash, guava provides a slow, steady release of energy.
"Eat more guavas and eggs. This is an elite meal. Check your results in 3 months. Add exercise and 10 k steps. You will win," he wrote.
When a follower asked why guavava and not any other frutit, the doctor said that one must include in one's diet.
Explaining the resons, Sadhale said that guavas have 4x the amount of Vitamin C than oranges.
One cup of guava packs over 370mg of Vitamin C which is critical for repairing tissues, supporting your immune system, and producing collagen all essential for recovering from tough workouts, he said.
"Guava is loaded with dietary fiber, a secret weapon for anyone in a calorie deficit. Fiber slows down digestion, which helps stabilize your blood sugar and keeps you feeling full and satisfied for much longer. Fewer hunger pangs make adherence to your plan far easier," he wrote.
According to Sadhale, unlike high-GI fruits that can spike your blood sugar and lead to an energy crash, guava provides a slow, steady release of energy. "This helps improve insulin sensitivity, which is a physiological superpower for encouraging your body to store nutrients in muscle, not fat."
Guava vs Other fruits
Comparing to other fruits, he said guava is a nutritional Swiss Army knife."While a banana is great for potassium, guava offers that PLUS massive amounts of Vitamin C, antioxidants like lycopene, and Vitamin A. You get more nutritional bang for your calorie buck, which is the definition of smart eating."
He advised people to eat guava with its skin.
"That’s where much of the Vitamin C is concentrated. It’s also fantastic blended into a protein smoothie for a tropical, recovery-boosting flavor."
Insisting that guava isn’t just another fruit, Dr Sadhale said, "It’s a strategic tool. Its unique profile of insane Vitamin C content, high fiber, and a low glycemic index directly supports recovery, appetite control, and metabolic health."
According to Sadhale, one must eat to guavas every day.
