Ukraine seeks consular access for six nationals held by NIA; MEA says legal process will be followed
Mea confirms that India has received a consular access request from Ukraine after six of its nationals and a U.S. citizen were arrested by the NIA for allegedly entering restricted areas in Mizoram and maintaining links with ethnic armed groups in Myanmar’s Chin State. MEA has responded while investigations into their alleged involvement in terror activities are ongoing.
