Kashmir Police, CRPF, SDRF hold full-scale security mock drill ahead of Amarnath Yatra 2026

Ahead of the Amarnath Yatra 2026, Jammu and Kashmir Police have established a comprehensive multi-layer security arrangement and conducted a full-scale mock drill involving all security and emergency agencies. The 57-day pilgrimage begins on July 3, with the first batch of pilgrims departing Jammu on July 2. Authorities have deployed CCTV surveillance with recognition capabilities, enhanced monitoring systems, and Mountain Rescue Teams to ensure security and respond swiftly to weather-related emergencies along both Yatra routes.
