Sri Lanka eyes logistics, energy, tourism ties with India; calls Rajnath visit ‘honour & privilege’
Sri Lankan Minister Anil Jayantha Fernando called Rajnath Singh’s Colombo visit a “great honour and privilege” and highlighted India’s support for Sri Lanka during recent challenges. Fernando also said Sri Lanka wants to strengthen defence cooperation, including maritime security, training and capacity building, while identifying trade, investment, energy, logistics and tourism as areas for deeper cooperation.
