Shirtless protest case: Delhi Police adds charges, 8 arrested including IYC chief Uday Bhanu Chib

Delhi Police has added rioting charges in connection with the shirtless protest staged by Indian Youth Congress (IYC) members at the AI Impact Summit in Bharat Mandapam. Eight people have been arrested so far, including IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib and other office-bearers. Police claim the protest was part of a “deep conspiracy” and say evidence has been found during preliminary investigation. The case has now been transferred to the Interstate Cell of the Crime Branch.
