‘Rahul Baba, I challenge you’: Shah dares Oppn to debate SIR, says BJP in UP is like ‘Angad’s foot’

Home Minister Amit Shah addressed the BJP’s Uttar Pradesh State Working Committee meeting in Lucknow, where he made a strong pitch for the party’s return to power in the state. Calling the BJP government in UP as firmly rooted as “Angad’s foot”, he asserted that no one could dislodge it. Shah also challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav to debate the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Parliament, saying the BJP was ready to answer every question. He urged party workers to focus on securing a resounding mandate in the next Assembly elections.
