‘Anybody who wants to come…: Rahul Gandhi postpones CEC impeachment programme; challenges centre

Congress leader and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi has accused the Centre and the Election Commission of undermining Indian democracy, alleging that millions of people are being disenfranchised through “vote theft”. Ahead of the opposition’s public programme at Ramlila Maidan, he challenged the Centre over attempts to stop people from reaching Delhi and said the entire opposition was united to defend the Constitution and citizens’ right to vote. Rahul also invited people from all walks of life to join the protest. The CEC programme was postponed by a day due to rain.
