Piyush Goyal: India to gain preferential access to 76% of global GDP through FTAs

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal says India is targeting $1 trillion in exports this year, despite global trade growth projections of just 1.9%. Speaking at the curtain raiser of the Invest Telangana Global Summit in New Delhi, he said the ambitious target reflects the confidence of India's exporters and industry. Goyal also highlighted India's nine recently concluded free trade agreements, preferential access to 38 developed nations and Telangana's ambition to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
