Bareilly: UP police ensure tight security on 'Jumme ki Namaz,' religious leaders appeal for peace

Uttar Pradesh Police stepped up security in Bareilly and Meerut on Friday to ensure peaceful Jumme ki Namaz. SSP Meerut Vipin Tanda said officers are patrolling key areas and remain on alert until prayers conclude. In Bareilly, SSP Anurag Arya informed that the city has been divided into four super zones and four special zones, with drone surveillance deployed in sensitive areas. Dargah Ala Hazrat spokesperson Nasir Qureshi appealed for peace, confirming that the Gyarvi Sharif procession will take place on October 4, not today.
