‘Anti-national decision’: Amit Shah slams Congress over Vande Mataram, alleges appeasement politics

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has launched a sharp attack on the Congress over its Working Committee resolution on Vande Mataram. Shah called the decision “anti-national” and accused the Congress of repeating its 1937 stand of singing only selected stanzas of the national song. He alleged that the decision reflects the party’s continued “appeasement politics” and said the Narendra Modi government has sought to strengthen national unity around Vande Mataram. Shah also targeted Rahul Gandhi and urged the country to oppose what he described as the Congress’ appeasement politics.
