₹3,000 cr drug haul busted: Indian Coast Guard intercepts Iranian dhow, 5 Pakistanis held

The Indian Coast Guard, in coordination with Gujarat ATS and central intelligence agencies, intercepted a suspicious Iranian dhow in the Arabian Sea, west of Lakshadweep. The operation led to the seizure of around 526 kg of heroin and methamphetamine, valued at over ₹3,000 crore, and the apprehension of five Pakistani crew members. The vessel, crew and seized contraband have been escorted to Mumbai for multi-agency investigation and legal proceedings.
