Delhi gets key East-South link: Amit Shah inaugurates 9-km Barapullah Phase-3 after 11-year wait

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated Delhi’s Barapullah Phase-3 elevated corridor, completing a key link between east and south Delhi. The around 9-km route connects Mayur Vihar Phase-1 with Sarai Kale Khan, with onward connectivity towards AIIMS. The project also features dedicated facilities for cyclists and pedestrians. Shah also inaugurated the Mukarba Chowk underpass and unveiled connectivity projects worth ₹1,941 crore. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta criticised the previous AAP administration over delays in completing the corridor.
