Share market update: Realty shares gain; Phoenix Mills jumps over 6%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with gains in Friday's session.

Shares of Phoenix Mills (up 6.45 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (up 4.75 per cent) , Indiabulls Real Estate (up 3.5 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (up 2.84 per cent) , Godrej Properties (up 1.53 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.1 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 1.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.42 per cent up at 200.15 around 12:55PM.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 89.60 points at 10118.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 225.89 points at 34206.59.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, SBI, Ashok Leyland, SAIL, Tata Power, Trident Ltd, BHEL, PNB and IDFC First Bank Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
