Rohit Katwal graduated as a computer science engineer in 2009 and was directly introduced to stock market by his father who retired from Government job around the same time. Rohit took the usual approach of the stock market like many beginners and traded Equities, Intraday, Futures and even option buying. To understand more about the financial world, Rohit pursued MBA in finance and graduated in 2012. Having blown accounts, Rohit did a day job from 2012 - 2017 while working on stock market strategies and backtesting at the end of day on Option Strategies. In 2017, Rohit took a leap of faith in himself and decided to quit his job and start trading for a living.

In 2019 Rohit founded Katwal Asset Management and trained several individuals in Options Trading. In 2020 Rohit authored a book "Definitive Guide to Advanced Options Trading"In 2021, Katwal Asset Management ventured into Algorithm Trading. All of this while Rohit has handled his own discretionary trading personal account.
His Journey in His Own Words
I had no money to trade in 2017. Just a zeal and passion for trading and an understanding of Risk Management and Game of Probabilities. I had blown away all the savings in 2012. But I also knew that if I don't quit the job that I don't like right now, I will be stuck forever. So out of the blue, I submitted my resignation, and somehow managed to get a loan against property and started trading. My target was to make 4% on my capital to survive. First month I made 3%. Second month 4 then 7 then even 8 and I never looked back."
