'Tablecloth for Rs 30K?' Priyanka Chopra gets slammed for selling 'overpriced' products through her brand Sona Home

Priyanka Chopra, who already has a number of business ventures to her name, launched a new company, a homeware brand called Sona Home.
Named after her New York City restaurant inaugurated in 2021, the new brand glorifies the Indian heritage and culture, the actress said.
On Wednesday, along with restaurateur Maneesh Goyal, her business partner for Sona restaurant, the actress proudly introduced her new home decor brand to the world.
"I bring a piece of India into everything I do and this is an extension of that thought. It's awesome to be working alongside Goyal and our entire team in creating something so dear to our hearts and heritage," the actress wrote on the caption on Instagram Reel.
The Sona Home collection includes dinnerware, table linens, bar decor and more.
The delicate products are supposed to represent Indian culture. However, netizens aren't quite happy with the pricing of products being offered under Chopra's Sona Home.
On the official website of Sona Home, Panna Square Tablecloth is listed at $298 which is around Rs 23,469, whereas Panna Square Tablecloth is priced at $398 (around Rs 31,450). Coming to dinner set, Sultan's Garden Tea Cup & Saucer starts at $68 (Rs 5374 approximately). Meanwhile Sultan's Garden Chutney Pots, a set of 6, is available for $198 which comes to Rs 15,646 approximately.
The prices listed at Sona Home website did not go down well with people, who took to Twitter to troll the actress for selling "overpriced" products.
"I wanna be rich to a point where I can casually buy a SONA HOME tablecloth worth 30K INR," one user on Twitter wrote.
Several Reddit users also slammed PeeCee’s Sona Home for their high prices.
