'Good to see you little mate.' Danielle Wyatt posts Arjun Tendulkar's photo as the two meet up for lunch. Pic goes viral

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar is currently enjoying a post-pandemic break in the United Kingdom. Arjun, a left-arm pacer, didn’t play this year’s IPL although several fans had hoped to see him on the field. The 22-year-old recently grabbed headlines, when he appeared in the Instagram Stories of popular English woman cricketer, Danielle Wyatt.

On Tuesday, Wyatt shared a photo of junior Tendulkar brunching in SoHo with her, and she captioned the photo, “Good to see my little mate for a Nandos yesterday.” The photo has since then gone viral and fans are lapping up this adorable celebrity moment.

Wyatt, who is a member of the England women’s cricket team, shares a good friendship with the Mumbai Indians cricketer. The two had been spotted together a few things before as well.


Wyatt has played 93 ODIs and 124 T20Is for England and met Arjun for the first time on the grounds of Lords. At the time, Arjun was 10-year-old and practicing with his dad. Recalling the moment Wyatt had said, "So, I first met Sachin and Arjun at Lord's Cricket Ground. Maybe 2009 or 2010 when I was with MCC young cricketers and they were training in the nets. Literally I went to the nets and said hello and introduced myself saying I am Danni etc. Arjun would have been 10 years old back then, he was so small. There is a photo somewhere on Google. I bowled to him that day, he was very good. Since then whenever I bump into Sachin or Arjun or whenever they come to Lord's to train, I go to the nets and ask him (Arjun) to bowl the new ball to me."

Wyatt also enjoys a huge fan following in India, and had previously said that she admires Virat Kohli.
