Deepika Padukone's pictures with Rami Malek from Spain event go viral; netizens in awe of the new global icon

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who made India proud at the 75th Cannes Film Festival last month, has been named the international brand ambassador of luxury jewellery brand Cartier.

The actress attended Cartier's Beautés du Monde high-end jewellery collection launch in Madrid, Spain. She was joined by other Cartier ambassadors such as Hollywood star Rami Malek, Egyptian actress Yasmine Sabri and English actress Annabelle Wallis, and the brand's Head of Communication Amélie Delacour.

The 36-year-old, who became the international global ambassador of Louis Vuitton in April, opted for an ivory silk sleeveless gown with a plunging neckline. Her outfit featured ruffled layers cinched around the waist. She completed her look with a simple bun and a statement Cartier necklace and simple drop earrings.

The 'No Time To Die' star looked dapper in a navy blue tuxedo with a sky blue shirt and a Cartier brooch. Sabri donned a red off-shoulder gown with a Cartier necklace for the event.

Soon after the event, Padukone's pictures with Malek, Sabri and Wallis went viral. Many fans are in awe of the newest emerging global icon.




For Cannes, the actress opted for Cartier jewellery on two separate occasions - a statement necklace, and diamond rings and earrings.


On the work front, the 'Piku' star will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Pathaan'. The movie is all set to release on January 25, 2023. 'Pathaan' marks the actress's fourth collaboration with SRK after 'Om Shanti Om', 'Chennai Express' and 'Happy New Year'.

Padukone will also be seen in 'Project K', featuring Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, and the official Hindi remake of 'The Intern'.
