During an interview with Curly Tales, actor R Madhavan spoke about his favourite breakfast dishes. He revealed that his most loved breakfast dish was Kuzhi Paniyaram. One of the most loved dishes from South India, Kuzhi Paniyaram is not just delicious, but also has high nutritional value.

Kuzhi Paniyaram is traditionally prepared from fermented batter consisting mostly from rice and urad daal. The batter is cooked in a pan with small cavities that result in soft, round-shaped balls with crispy exterior and soft, fluffy centre. Aside from being very tasty, kuzhi paniyaram also comes is also a nutritional powerhouse as far as snacks go.

Rice, which is one of the main ingredients of the dish is an excellent source of carbohydrates that can help you sustain throughout the day. It is also a great source of other nutrients such as magnesium, phosphorus, manganese, selenium, folate, healthy fatty acids.
