Huami launches water resistant Amazfit BIP S with sleep tracker at Rs 4,999
The company claims that the smartwatch can offer a 40-day battery life.

NEW DELHI: Huami Corporation, popular for its Amazfit brand of devices, launched the ultra-lightweight and thin body Amazfit BIP S at Rs 4,999 in India on Wednesday. The smartwatch debuted at CES 2020 in January before the world went under coronavirus-induced lockdown.
Customers can purchase the smartwatch online through various ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Amazfit’s official website, and offline outlets like Croma and Reliance Digital once the government eases lockdown rules.
The latest Amazfit Bip S is equipped with sleep tracker, 64 Gamut colourful transflective display, 5 ATM water resistance and Bluetooth music control. It has built-in GPS and GLONASS dual mode positioning allow users to accurately track their routes and distances.
Amazfit Bip S's display is easily readable outdoors even under bright sunlight, claims Huami. The newly-launch device comes with Huami-PAI, an personal activity indicator, to help users monitor their heart health and overall fitness. The company claims to offer a 40-day battery life.
The Xiaomi-backed tech start-up's collaboration with a leading technology importer, PR Innovations, will ensure marketing and distribution of the Amazfit Bip S the country.

“The Bip S is designed for the millennial crowd and fitness enthusiasts to track their daily activities and performance,” Mark Mao, Vice President of Overseas Business, Huami, said.
The device is equipped with daily tracking activities along with 10 sports modes like treadmill, outdoor running, walking, indoor cycling, outdoor cycling, open water, pool, yoga, elliptical trainer and freestyle. It is also packed with Huami's self-developed optical sensor, heart rate tracking, warning and interval values.
The display is easily readable outdoors even under bright sunlight, claims the company.
