'AI could be a risk to humanity...': OpenAI, Anthropic bosses sound alarm over AI dangers at UNSC
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and Canadian AI pioneer Yoshua Bengio addressed the United Nations Security Council over the growing risks posed by artificial intelligence. The leaders called for stronger global cooperation, international AI safety standards and greater oversight of increasingly powerful AI systems.
