'Trump called us terrorists but we are the victims of terrorism': Iran's Pezeshkian at UNGA
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday (Sept 23) accused the United States and Israel of attacking Iran, saying his country and its people had become “victims of terrorism” in his address to the UN General Assembly. “We have only defended ourselves. We are not terrorists,” Pezeshkian said, rejecting accusations against Tehran. He said Iran had faced attacks and aggression and had responded in self-defence.
