Ramdev reacts to ‘Brahminwaad se azadi, RSS se azadi’ slogans at Jantar Mantar protest

Addressing reporters in Haridwar, yoga guru Ramdev criticised recent student protests at Jantar Mantar, saying that “the country will not run through streets” and that decisions such as the appointment of the Education Minister would be taken by the Prime Minister and Parliament. He also commented on slogans including “Brahminwaad se azadi, RSS se azadi,” saying such remarks were against constitutional values, and criticised what he described as a section of Gen Z protesters for using abusive language and disrespecting traditional values.
