Lupin shares drop 0.3% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Lupin Ltd. traded at Rs 1607.3 on BSE at 12:23PM (IST) on Friday, down 0.3 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 628.1 and a high of Rs 1703.8.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 40.84 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 39.33 per share and 2.36 times its book value, as per BSE data.


A total of 5,061 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:23PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 73141.38 crore and is part of the Pharma - Indian industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 143.77 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 24.97 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1620.55 and Rs 1599.25.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 46.76 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in Lupin Ltd. stood at 16.11 per cent and 18.92 per cent, respectively.
