Sensex soared nearly 889 points to close at 77,655 while Nifty gained around 265 points to end the session above 24,250. The sharp gains added over Rs 4 lakh crore to the total market capitalisation of all companies listed on BSE, pulling it up to Rs 483 lakh crore.
Bajaj Housing Finance
Bajaj Housing Finance reported a strong set of Q1FY27 numbers, with net profit rising 22.6% year on year to Rs 715 crore from Rs 583 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The growth was supported by steady business expansion and lower loan loss provisions, reflecting healthy asset quality and continued momentum in its lending operations.
MTAR Technologies
MTAR Technologies posted a sharp jump in earnings for the June quarter, with net profit surging to Rs 50.2 crore from Rs 10.8 crore a year ago. Revenue more than doubled to Rs 360 crore from Rs 157 crore in the year-ago period, highlighting strong business growth and a significant improvement in operating performance.

Adani Enterprises
Adani Enterprises swung to a consolidated net loss of Rs 1,160 crore in the first quarter of FY27 compared with a profit of Rs 885 crore in the same period last year. Despite the loss, the company's revenue from operations rose 50% year on year to Rs 32,924 crore, reflecting strong top-line growth during the quarter.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ)
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) posted a 9% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,620 crore in Q1FY27 from Rs 3,315 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations rose 18.5% to Rs 10,821 crore from Rs 9,126 crore, reflecting continued growth across its port operations and logistics business.
Redington
Technology solutions provider Redington reported a strong June quarter, with profit after tax jumping 76.6% year on year to Rs 486 crore from Rs 275 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The performance underscores robust earnings growth during the period.
Eicher Motors
Eicher Motors reported a 21.4% year-on-year rise in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 1,462.51 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by record vehicle volumes. Consolidated revenue from operations increased to Rs 6,632.42 crore from Rs 5,041.84 crore in the year-ago quarter, reflecting strong demand and higher sales.

Dabur India
Dabur India reported a 15.3% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 586 crore for the June quarter, compared with Rs 508 crore in the corresponding period last year. The FMCG major said it delivered broad-based growth despite operating in a challenging environment marked by persistent inflation, volatile commodity prices and geopolitical uncertainty in West Asia.
Vedanta Iron and Steel
Vedanta Iron and Steel (VISL) reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 122 crore for Q1FY27, compared with a net loss of Rs 142 crore in the year-ago quarter, aided by higher revenue from operations. Revenue rose to Rs 3,662 crore from Rs 3,095 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, supporting the company's return to profitability.
