Nani’s latest film, The Paradise, has once again drawn attention to his fit and lean physique. The actor prefers regular cardio and staying active instead of following intense workout routines. For Nani, staying fit is about exercising consistent...

Unlike several film stars who follow demanding workout schedules and strict meal plans for their roles, Nani has previously spoken about keeping his fitness routine simple. For him, regular exercise, staying active and eating familiar food in moderation form the foundation of his approach.
Three fitness rules of Nani to stay fit
1. Nani relies on cardio instead of intense gym workoutsNani has never been known for following an extremely demanding gym routine. The actor has previously revealed that cardio is the main part of his workout schedule and that he focuses on exercising consistently to maintain his weight.
Speaking about his fitness routine as quoted by TV9 Telugu, Nani said, "I only do cardio. I always maintain a stable weight. The main reason for this is that I work out constantly."
His approach is less about spending long hours lifting weights and more about making exercise a consistent part of his routine.
The actor has also stressed the importance of simply staying active. According to Nani, "The most important thing is to work out. If we sit at home, we will naturally gain weight. If we are engaged in work, we can stay fit."
For Nani, therefore, the first rule is simple: keep moving and exercise regularly rather than depending entirely on intense gym sessions.

2. He does not believe in strict or restrictive diets
Exercise is only one part of Nani’s fitness philosophy. The actor has also spoken about his relaxed approach to food. Instead of completely cutting out certain foods, he prefers eating a variety of things without taking dieting to an extreme.
Nani has previously said that he eats different kinds of food and does not follow a highly restrictive diet. His approach is based on eating food that he is familiar with rather than forcing himself to follow complicated diet trends.
He said, "I eat everything, anything. The food we have been accustomed to since childhood is good for our body. It is better to continue traditional foods like home-cooked food and mother’s homemade flour dishes."

3. Moderation matters more than extreme rules
While Nani does not believe in strict food restrictions, that does not mean he advocates eating without limits. Moderation is another important part of his approach.
The Paradise actor further added, "However, you should not overeat anything."
In other words, his fitness routine is not built around completely avoiding certain foods but around maintaining a balance. This approach also goes hand in hand with his views on exercise. Rather than pushing the body through extreme routines, Nani focuses on consistency. Regular cardio, an active lifestyle and sensible eating make up the three key habits he has spoken about over the years.
