Hanuman Ansh box office collection day 48: Neem Karoli Baba's hit movie is all set to enter Rs 400 crore club worldwide

Hanuman Ansh is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film based on Neem Karoli Baba's life continues to perform strongly in theatres and is now nearing 50 days of its theatrical run. Despite facing several new releases, the film has maintained its momentum and is steadily moving towards the Rs 400 crore mark worldwide.

Hanuman Ansh box office collection day-wise

According to Sacnilk.com, Hanuman Ansh collected approximately Rs 4 crore net in India on Day 48, with the film running across 7,358 shows. The latest day's collection took its India net total to around Rs 284.93 crore, while its India gross collection stands at approximately Rs 336.45 crore.

The film also continued to earn from overseas markets. It collected around Rs 1 crore overseas on Day 48, taking its cumulative overseas gross to approximately Rs 35.75 crore. With this, the film's worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 372.20 crore.




The Day 48 number came after the film earned Rs 4.90 crore net on Day 47. Although there was a drop on the 48th day, the film continues to record notable numbers this deep into its theatrical run.

From a Rs 10 lakh opening to Rs 372 crore: Hanuman Ansh worldwide box office

The journey of Hanuman Ansh has been very different from a typical big-screen release. The film opened with just Rs 10 lakh on its first day. Its first two weeks also remained modest, with the movie failing to show the kind of early momentum usually associated with a major box-office success.

However, the film's fortunes changed dramatically from its third week. According to Sacnilk's figures, Hanuman Ansh collected around Rs 10.40 crore in Week 3, followed by Rs 61 crore in Week 4. The film then recorded its biggest weekly collection with Rs 90.25 crore in Week 5. Its sixth week brought another Rs 80.25 crore.

The film continued its run into the seventh week, with its Day 43 to Day 48 collections. The sustained performance has allowed the film to remain in theatres long after its initial release.

Hanuman Ansh crosses major 2026 releases

The film's extended run has also helped it move past several major releases at the worldwide box office. Recent trade figures reported by Sacnilk said that Hanuman Ansh had already crossed films such as Yash's Toxic and Ram Charan's Peddi. It also became the highest-grossing non-sequel film of 2026 according to those figures.

Its performance is particularly notable because Hanuman Ansh did not arrive as a conventional big-budget star vehicle. Reports have placed its reported budget at around Rs 2 crore, while its worldwide gross has now reached Rs 372.20 crore.

The film's domestic performance has been driven largely by its long theatrical run. Its collections picked up sharply from the third week.

With its worldwide gross now at Rs 372.20 crore, Hanuman Ansh is around Rs 27.80 crore away from the Rs 400 crore mark. Whether it can reach that milestone will depend on how much business it continues to generate in its eighth week and beyond.

Hanuman Ansh is based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba and is the first film in a planned trilogy. According to NDTV, the story draws from Divine Detour: That Changed My Life and is set in pre-Independence India. The film follows Lakshmi Narayan during his early years and his spiritual journey after the death of his mother.

Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film stars Shobhinaw Satyaa as the spiritual figure. Chandan Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Nikhil Dubey, Udaysinh Rajput and Mannish Chaudhary are also part of the cast.
