Tatum Paxley is settling into life on WWE's main roster, but the move from NXT has brought a completely different set of challenges. After spending five years developing her craft in NXT, Paxley made the jump to SmackDown and aligned herself with two of WWE's biggest names, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. While she admits main roster life can be 'very last minute' and 'very chaotic', Paxley believes her years in NXT prepared her for the challenge.

Paxley has also credited Flair and Bliss with helping make the transition considerably smoother, with both experienced stars taking her under their wing as she adjusts to the demanding travel schedule, different crowds and unpredictable nature of WWE's main roster.

TATUM PAXLEY CALLS WWE MAIN ROSTER LIFE 'VERY CHAOTIC'

Speaking on Busted Open, Paxley explained that she arrived on the main roster already expecting things to move quickly and change without much warning. Knowing what to expect, Paxley was prepared to deal with the unpredictable nature of life on WWE's main roster.

"Yeah, so I came here with full expectation: be on your toes, expect the unexpected. And I had that so in my mind that, you know, and and everything is very last minute. It is very chaotic, but I already came up here with knowing that and being comfortable with that," Paxley said as quoted by Wrestling Observer Figure Four Online.

Interestingly, the biggest adjustment hasn't necessarily been what happens inside the ring. Paxley revealed that navigating unfamiliar cities and simply getting to WWE venues can sometimes prove more stressful.

"I freak out parking the car in the hotels when, like, I can't find the parking garage. Like, I get so stressed driving in these downtown areas and getting to the venue. I panic so hard. In the building we're good, but to it, I hate it," she added.

PAXLEY CREDITS NXT FOR PREPARING HER FOR WWE MAIN ROSTER

Despite the hectic environment, Paxley described her actual move to the main roster as a smooth one. She spent five years in NXT and believes that lengthy developmental run gave her the confidence to handle the next stage of her career.

"Well, it's hard to give you the day or the second (when I felt I belonged amongst the best in WWE) because like you said, it's not an overnight thing because I was in NXT for five years and I feel like that was the perfect time for me. Because when my call-up did happen, I was like, 'Okay, yeah, I can do that. No problem, no worries'," Paxley said.

She added: "I came up here, it's been such a smooth transition. I don't feel like I'm freaking out."

For Paxley, that confidence was something that developed gradually rather than arriving after one particular match or moment.

CHARLOTTE FLAIR AND ALEXA BLISS HELP PAXLEY SETTLE IN

Having Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss alongside her has also made a major difference. Paxley said the two established WWE stars have helped build her confidence while introducing her to a world that feels noticeably different from NXT.

"Oh my gosh, so much, and I couldn't ask for two better people to take me under their wing and introduce me to this world because it's different than NXT and now I'm traveling all the time, I'm seeing different crowds and it's different and to have people of their caliber watch over me, I couldn't be more thankful for the position that I'm in so, and every single week, both of them, they're just making sure I have what I need, that I'm good to go," Paxley said as quoted by Fightful.

"They've just been the best people to me ever and I'm so thankful for them," Paxley further said.

Paxley was recently part of a women's Money in the Bank qualifying match, where she competed against Tiffany Stratton and Candice LaRae. Two months into her main roster run, Paxley appears to have found valuable support as she navigates the chaos and pressure that come with WWE's biggest stage.
