Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 28.70 points up at 11,672.15.

Around 12:10 pm, the BSE Smallcap index was 1.13 per cent down at 15790, while the BSE Sensex was 0.34 per cent down at 35,096.

Around 10:50 am, the BSE Smallcap index was 0.83 per cent down at 16,161, while the BSE Sensex was nearly flat at 35,485.

Equity market was in the negative zone on selling across sectors.
