The CBI Special Court here today extended till Apr 29 the judicial custody of former Karnataka minister and mining baron G Janardhana Reddy.

A Special Court today extended the CBI custody of G Janardhana Reddy and his close associate Mehfuz Ali Khan till March 19.

Reddy and Khan were brought here from Chanchalaguda jail in Hyderabad where they are being tried in the Obulapuram Mining Company case.

The CBI has registered five cases in connection with illegal iron ore export scam worth Rs 2500 cr and carried out searches.
