Police release Rahul Gandhi after brief detention following protest outside PM Modi's residence
Congress leader and Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi has been released from detention after he was detained over a protest near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in the national capital. Several Opposition leaders, including Rahul and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, held a protest on Tuesday, demanding accountability over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and seeking the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
