AAP leader Satyendar Jain arrested by anti-corruption branch in Delhi Jal Board bribery case

AAP leader and former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of the Delhi government in connection with an alleged corruption case involving the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) during the previous government, an official told news agency PTI on Tuesday. he ACB has arrested six accused persons in the case, including Jain, who served as the former Minister of Water in the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The other accused arrested are Udit Prakash Rai, an IAS officer and former CEO of the Delhi Jal Board; Ankit Srivastava, a former contractual consultant with the DJB; Nagendra Yadav, proprietor of M/s AN Enterprises; Raja Kumar Kurra, owner of M/s Euroteck Environement Pvt. Ltd; and Pankaj Verma, proprietor of M/s Srijanhar.
