The 35-year-old artist, a rising star in the Punjabi music and film industry, had been on life support for over 11 days at Fortis Hospital in Mohali after sustaining severe head and spinal injuries in the crash. He was declared dead at 10.55 am, hospital authorities confirmed.

Jawanda met with the accident on September 27 while riding from Baddi toward Shimla. Reports suggest his motorcycle collided with stray cattle near Solan district, causing a fatal fall. Sources close to the family said Jawanda’s wife had asked him not to go on the long ride that day, but he had assured her it would be a short and safe journey through the hills. Unfortunately, the ride turned tragic.
