Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda, famous for songs like Sardaari, Kangani, and Do Ni Sajna, has passed away at the age of 35, 11 days after suffering serious injuries in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh.

The accident occurred on September 27 near Baddi while Jawanda was travelling to Shimla on his motorcycle, leaving him in critical condition. He was first treated at a nearby hospital before being transferred to Fortis Hospital, Mohali, where he remained on life support for several days.

Hailing from Pona village in Ludhiana’s Jagraon, Rajvir Jawanda was a cherished name in contemporary Punjabi music.
