“Eat Right India, Eat Right Everybody,” Tripathi says in the video before stressing the importance of eating right for good health. He also emphasises the need for greater awareness about food and its connection with the body.

Pankaj Tripathi links food with thoughts
Tripathi also extends his message beyond eating habits, drawing a connection between food and a person’s thoughts.“Aur hum jo sochenge na, wahi hamara vyaktitva banega,” he says, urging people to keep a check on both what they eat and what they think.
The actor then shares a personal change he has made to his eating routine. He says that for the past month, he has been spending around half an hour eating his food rather than rushing through meals.
Tripathi says he takes the time to experience the “Ras” and “Swaad” of the food. He explains that amid the rush of daily life, meals can provide an opportunity to pause and give oneself some time.
According to the actor, eating should therefore be treated as a moment that deserves attention rather than something to be quickly completed between other responsibilities.
‘Mera dhyaan sirf khane par hi rahega’
Tripathi says that when he sits down for a meal, he tries to keep his attention focused on the food.“Ab mera dhyaan sirf khane par hi rahega aur kisi cheez par nahi rahega,” he says.
He also refers to the traditional Indian practice of showing respect to food before eating. Tripathi points to the practice of offering pranam before a meal and consuming food with “Shraddha” and gratitude.
He describes this approach to eating as a complete practice, comparing it to a “Puja Paddhati.”
Through the video, Tripathi’s message focuses on being more conscious during meals instead of treating eating as another rushed activity. He suggests that giving food time and attention can be part of a more mindful approach to everyday eating.
The video forms part of FSSAI’s #EatRightIndia campaign, which aims to create awareness around healthier eating habits. Tripathi concludes his message by saying, “Eat Right aapki sehat ke liye zaroori hai,” reiterating his call for people to understand the importance of awareness around food.
