Ekansh, who has impressively lost 35 kg himself, frequently shares
weight loss tips on Instagram. Recently, he revealed a ‘guaranteed’ diet plan to help people lose 5 kg in a week. But he also reminded his followers that while this method may work, it is not the healthiest or most sustainable approach.
So, if you're up for the challenge and ready for some serious discipline, here’s the diet plan he suggests.

Ekansh’s One-Week Weight Loss Diet Plan
Morning Ritual – 6:30 AMFennel Seed Water – Soak 1 teaspoon fennel seeds (saunf) in water overnight, strain, and drink on an empty stomach. Claimed benefits? Better digestion and reduced bloating.
Breakfast – 8:00 AMAvocado Bowl – One whole avocado with a sprinkle of black salt and lemon juice. High in healthy fats, zero carbohydrates, and low in protein.
Green Tea – One cup, unsweetened, for a metabolism boost.
Mid-Morning Snack – 10:30 AMCucumber & Mint Detox Water – Infused with cucumber slices, mint leaves, and pink salt. A refreshing, calorie-free drink.
Lunch – 1:00 PMZucchini Noodles with Olive Oil – One cup of spiralised zucchini, cooked with garlic and chilli flakes in one teaspoon olive oil.
Green Salad – Lettuce, cucumber, and a few almonds (five to six pieces) with lemon vinaigrette. Hydrating and low in carbohydrates.
Fennel Seed Tea – A calming digestive aid.
Afternoon Snack – 4:00 PMADVERTISEMENT
Coconut Water – Natural electrolytes, but no protein.
Herbal Tea – Unsweetened peppermint or chamomile tea.
Dinner – 7:30 PMVegetable Soup – A clear broth with boiled spinach, celery, and mushrooms. Lightly seasoned with salt and black pepper.
Steamed Asparagus – One cup, drizzled with lemon juice.
Green Tea – A final cup to unwind.
Evening Detox – 9:00 PMFennel Cinnamon Water – Boil fennel seeds with a small cinnamon stick in water, cool, strain, and sip slowly.
The Trainer’s Warning: Quick Fixes Have a Price
Ekansh does not sugar-coat the reality of extreme weight loss. He cautions against
crash diets, saying: "With this diet, I would ask you to do one hour of cardio, and in the next one week you will lose 5 kg or more. But with this, you face several problems – you will become skinny fat, your metabolism will crash, and within two weeks you will gain back all the weight, and even more, once you start eating normally again."
In other words, rapid weight loss may sound exciting, but it often leads to an unhealthy cycle of losing and regaining weight. Instead, he advises focusing on sustainable, long-term habits rather than quick fixes.
