BJP leader Nishikant Dubey has questioned the opposition's call for ‘regime change’, alleging that parties and leaders who have lost public support are turning away from democratic institutions. He invoked the names of George Soros, China and the so-called ‘tukde-tukde gang’ while making his allegations. The leader also challenged Rahul Gandhi to debate the government in Parliament rather than seek a public or televised debate with the Prime Minister. He further defended the Modi government's record on employment and poverty, citing figures he attributed to an IMF-World Bank report, and took aim at activists including Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav.
