LPG crisis: More shipments procured, domestic & essential non-domestic use to be prioritised
Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary (Marketing & Oil Refinery), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, GoI, said that LPG is currently being prioritised for the domestic sector. For non-domestic use, essential services such as hospitals and educational institutions are being given priority. She added that the committee is working with state authorities and industry bodies to finalise a plan that ensures LPG is distributed fairly and transparently.
