J&K: Tharoor-led Parliamentary panel focuses on border security, winning Kashmiri community trust

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is leading the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs during its visit to Jammu & Kashmir, praised the work of border security forces and urged every Indian to visit border areas at least once. Tharoor said witnessing firsthand the sacrifices and dedication of personnel guarding the nation's borders would help citizens better appreciate their service. During the visit, the committee also reviewed border security measures, discussed ways to strengthen community confidence in Kashmir, and highlighted the importance of promoting tourism and normalcy across the region.
