‘Discussions were constructive…’: MEA highlights India-China talks at BRICS NSA meeting
NSA Ajit Doval met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in New Delhi during the BRICS security gathering, with the MEA describing the talks as “constructive and forward-looking” as both sides discussed recent developments and gradual normalisation of India-China ties. The meeting focused on diplomatic engagement, trust-building efforts and bilateral relations after years of tensions following the 2020 Galwan Valley clash.
