Fintech has taken banking from branch to hand of every citizen’: RBI Guv at Global Fintech Fest
RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said fintech has fundamentally reshaped Indian finance, taking banking “from the branch to the hand of every citizen”. Highlighting UPI, Aadhaar-enabled payments, account aggregators and the Unified Lending Interface, Malhotra said fintech is also helping extend collateral-light formal credit to MSMEs while improving financial inclusion, efficiency and customer experience.
