‘From 2006-14, this freight corridor was just in files...’: Modi slams Oppn, hails WDFC in Vadodara
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and dedicated development projects worth over ₹35,000 crore in Vadodara, including key sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, and said the 2,800-km Eastern and Western corridors are becoming the “backbone of the nation’s trade and commerce.” At the NaMo for Viksit Bharat event, Modi also highlighted a double-stack freight train carrying cargo equivalent to more than 250 trucks and referred to critics as the “naraaz fufa” while discussing concerns over truck drivers.
