Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot's poll promises: Affordable LPG cylinders and empowerment for women
On October 25, 2023, at a Congress party rally in Jhunjhunu, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot, announced two significant poll promises. He pledged to provide cooking gas cylinders at a discounted price of Rs. 500 to 1.05 crore families if he is re-elected. Additionally, he promised the 'Grah Laxmi Guarantee scheme', which will offer an annual honorarium of Rs. 10,000 to the woman head of every family.
