Karnataka Polls: PM Modi chants 'Bajrang Bali Ki Jai' in Dakshina Kannada rally in a counter to Congress
Congress aligns with anti-national elements for winning votes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged at a rally in Dakshina Kannada's Mudbidri on Wednesday.

"A bomb blast happened years ago in Rajasthan. The Congress government did such work that all the culprits went scot-free," Modi alleged. The Rajasthan high court had acquitted four accused in the 2008 Jaipur bomb blast case for want of sufficient evidence recently. The state later sacked the additional advocate general for failing to effectively argue the case and promised to appeal against the verdict in the Supreme Court.

At a rally in Uttar Kannada's Ankola, later in the day, Modi tried to mix the Congress promise to ban Bajrang Dal with Lord Hanuman. "When you head for voting, before you press the button, just chant 'Jai Bajrang Bali' and punish Congress," he said.

Appealing to first-time voters, Modi said that their vote will be the one that decides the future of Karnataka. "Only a stable BJP government can ensure a prosperous future for you," he said.

Modi said that he was the first PM to visit Uttar Kannada in four decades. "There are so many things I have gotten to do for the first time," Modi also attacked the Janata Dal Secular, along with Congress, in a rally in Bailhongal in Belagavi, calling JDS a 'one-family party.' "There is one more similarity between Congress and JDS. The former is a three-state party, while the latter is a three-district party," he said.
