In Panipat Rural Assembly, Mahipal Dhanda of BJP is strong at many places, independent Vijay Jain at many places and Sachin Kundu of Congress at some places. The polling percentage of Panipat Urban Assembly constituency has been 62.2. Here the main contest is between Varinder Shah of Congress and Pramod Vij of BJP.
